About Your Business:
What’s your business called, and what do you do?
Our business name is Alderson Logistics. Our core business is the cartage and further processing of wood block and wood shavings product. A large percentage of this wood product is distributed into the domestic animal bedding market. Additionally, Alderson Logistics supply third parties that further process woodchip or shavings product that is distributed both in the domestic and in some cases export markets.
What was going on before we started working together?
We had a large client that required Alderson logistics to have FSC certification. Our wood processing business is complex, and we were overwhelmed by the required process to obtain FSC certification. Mus Badami was recommended to guide us through the process.

What did we help you with?
Mus guided us through the entire FSC process. From developing the FSC procedures manual right through , internal staff training, right through to preparing us for the initial audit and subsequently acquiring our FSC CoC certificate. During the process Mus helped us to better understand some of the complexities of our own business.

We would have struggled to meet the standards required without assistance from Mus. He was able to guide us through step by step and make required adjustments to process and systems logically and efficiently.

Without obtaining FSC certification we would definitely have been unable to carry on supplying one of our main customers. This would have certainly had a detrimental impact on this division of the business.
